      "In the name of God Amen, I William Warren of Spotsylvania County & King Georges Parish being very sick and weak but of sound mind and memory praise the almighty God for ever. I do ordain and make this my last will & testament. First I commend my soul to the hands of God & Saviour Lord Christ who gave it, and my body to the earth to be decently buried according to the direction of my Executrix herein after named & my wordly substances to be given as followeth.
      Item. If any one of them should die without an heir lawfully begotten of their body. Their part of the land shall fall to their younger brother James Warren.

      1. William Warren s/o John b.ca 1680 in Rappa Co. d in Spotsylvania in 1727. He was memtioned in the will of Will Sergent in 1683, to whom 100 acres of land was left "should his son George Sergent not live", the land adjoined Richard Mathews.

      2. In Feb 1701 William Warren of Essex sold 100 acres to Giles Mathews of Richmond Co., land in Richmond Co. for 1800 lbs of tobacco
      Nov. 5, 1722, William Warren and wife Elizabeth, deeded to Samuel Ham 100 acres on south side of Middle River of Mattapony River, part of a patent of 1525 acres of land, St. George Parish (D. B. A, p89, Spots Co.,) (Crozier's)

      3. Deed dated Nov. 18, 1717 from William Warren of St. Annes Parish to Samuel Ellett, of same parish, conveys two tracts of 50 acre each being the same land conveyed to John Warren and Rachel Warren, dec'd by two deeds dated 9-20-1698 (Deed Bk #15, p112)

      William mentioned as the son of John Warren in the Will of William Sargent, written on 14 April 1683 in Rappannock Co., Va. This was used to improperly identify his mother William mentioned as the son of Rachel Warren, in her Will, written on 18 Sept. 1705 and probates on 11 Feb. 1706 in Essex Co., Va.
