    1. [S42] Obituary.
      EARL REYNOLDS: a well-known and popular resident of Perryville, died after three days? illness, from malignant scarlet fever, on Saturday night. His wife and five children survive him. He was a fireman on the Columbia & Port Deposit Railroad and was 39 years old. He belonged to the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief Association, the brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen, the Improved Order of Red Men and the Jr. O.U.A.M. His funeral was held on Monday, with interment in West Nottingham. 3/10/1872-12/26/1908 (1/2/1909)

      EARLE REYNOLDS: a former resident of this neighborhood, died at his home in Perryville on Sunday after an illness of but two days, from virulent scarlet fever, aged 40 years. He had been employed for some years past as a fireman on the P., B. & W. railroad. A widow and five children survive. The body was interred at West Nottingham Presbyterian cemetery on Monday.       EARL REYNOLDS: Elkton Md., Oct 21-son of Granville Reynolds a farmer of Calvert, Cecil County, Md, attempted suicide today. He shot himself near his heart and his physician ? cannot recover. He said he was tired of living. Reynolds had paid attention to a young lady who accepted her attention to another man.
