I show a 1860 and 1870 census with Mary (MC) Carter in the home of John Quincy Adams Carter and the ages are correct along with siblings that match your siblings. I have photos that Mary is buried in Mankin Cemetery next to Madison. I am trying to figure out the Carter portion of my family tree. I see some information that JQA's father is William Presley and then the father is William is sometimes listed as Jeduthan Washington and other times as Paschal.
