  [S42] Obituary. ELIZA A. REYNOLDS: a highly esteemed resident of this section, and widow of Jacob Reynolds, was stricken with apoplexy on Sunday, about noon, at her home in Octoraro, and died instantly. She was in the act of assisting with preparations for dinner, when her daughter saw her stagger and caught her, Mrs. Reynolds apparently expiring in her arms. She was in her 73rd year of age, and is survived by the following children; Miss Laura Reynolds, William M. Reynolds, and Jacob Reynolds, of Octoraro; Mrs. Mary Taylor and Harvey Reynolds, of Elkton; Mrs. Addie Fowler, of Harrisburg; Miss Lydia Reynolds, of Millington, Md. The funeral was held from her late residence yesterday, with interment at West Nottingham Presbyterian cemetery. (Midland Journal, Friday 3/12/1909) 5/23/1836-3/7/1909 ELIZA A. REYNOLDS: widow of the late Jacob Reynolds, died of heart failure, while sitting in a chair at her home, in the New Bridge section, near Rising Sun, on Sunday morning, aged 72 years. Three sons, William, Harvey J. and Jacob Reynolds, and three daughters. Mrs. Harry M. Taylor, of Elkton, Miss Laura, of New Bridge, and Miss Lidie, of Millington, Md., survive her.
