Nelle married Wilson James Clark on 19 Apr 1919 in Lents (Portland) OR. They had two children, Lyle Leland Clark and Leta Ellen Clark Bell. Nelle was trained as a nurse by Dr. W.E. Stewart in Stratton NE. Later she and her husband Wilson owned and ran Clark's Bakery in Stratton. After retirement the couple lived in Denver CO.
