- Hello, Thank you! I live in Lynchburg, been here all my life.I didn't know james sidney "Mr. Jim" but I remember my grandfather, Sidney Vivian " Mr. Sid" very well. He was very fond of his grandchildren. He use to take us on "picnics" on Sundays in the summer, But we usually wound up at his brothers house in Red House. That was Bernard but every one called him "Bunk". Have a lot of stories about Mr. Sid, but some you can't post. Doug.

Hello Mary Frances, I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, I haven't had as much time to spend on this as I would like. It can be VERY confusing ! Here is what I know to be correct about my line from Barton Thomas till now : James Sidney Reynolds 1866-1948, (first wife,Laura Booker 1856-1925) was the father of my grandfather, Sidney Vivian Reynolds 1899-1965 ( wife, Dora Alice Hunt 1899-) My father was their oldest son, James Vivian Reynolds 1919-1974 ( wife, Connie Douglas Fauber 1927- living ). I am James Douglas Reynolds Sr. 1950-living. ( first wife,son's mother, Robin Marie Reynolds 1954-2002) My son James Douglas Reynolds Jr 1977-living. If this is accepatbale Please include it.
