St. Francis Industrial was also known as St. Francis Vocational School. Founded in l888 as a home for orphaned boys ages 12 thru l8. I remember the building well. It was a red brick structure, very large. The school was torn down. It was located on Route l3 in Eddington, between Croydon and Bristol, Bucks, Pa.

I first found out about Raymond from his sister Libby (Elizabeth) Giancola in 2002. She said she had a brother that was in an orphanage in Philadelphia where he died and was buried in a catholic cemetery also in Philadelphia. When ancestry opened up their death certificates from 1906 to 1963 I found him. I contacted the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Historical Research Center for the Orphanage records. Debbie Reynolds and I have been looking for Raymond since 2002 with just the little bit of information that a sister who loved Raymond gave us. (dlozano November 17, 2014)

I do believe that Ray Allen's life now has come full circle. I would like to thank Shawn (PAHRC), Eileen who took the cemetery headstone photo and Patricia Carson. If it weren't for you guys Raymond Allen Charsha would have just been another little boy who's sister was trying to find him.
