    • CLARA M. "Dobby" CHARSHA: 59, of 323 W. Washington st., West Chester, died Sunday morning in Chester County Hospital, West Chester. She had been in poor health for some time. Born in West Chester, a daughter of the late Earle P. and Mary Hoopes Hannum, Mrs. Charsha had been a waitress most of her life. She worked for 15 years at the old Mansion House Hotel in West Chester. Mrs. Charsha was a graduate of Unionville High School and a member of the United Methodist Church of West Chester. Surviving are her husband, Robert A. Charsha; a daughter, Lois T., wife of Norman G. Laffey of Cochranville RD1; a son, Robert A., stationed with the U.S. Marines at Ft. Hood, Okinawa; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Weller of Largo, Fla., and Betty H., wife of Harvey F. Corcoran, West Chester; a brother, Walter M. Hannum of Media; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Funeral arrangements are pending. (Chester, Tues. 3/19/1974)
