    1. [S160] Correspondence, George Kirby, Descendant.
      I was told that a tree fell on Meads Kirby and killed him probably before 1850 since he is not listed in that census. I do have in my notes that Meads was alive in Jan 1846.
      I also found Elizabeth Kirby's will in the Halifax county court house.
      In it she left money for her brother Benjamin to attend military school, and money for her sisters Nancy and Frances.
