Gene R. Collins Mary Frances, Was your grandmother Nancy Ann "Nannie" Reynolds? If so, she was my 1st cousin 3X removed. Wishing a Merry Christmas and a happy and prospers and joyous New Year!!!
Mary Frances Eggleston Thank you Gene. Nannie is my ggrandmother; her daughter, Mollie was my grandmother; she died when daddy was about 15, so I never knew her, but I have been reconstructing her life for 14 years and in doing so, most of the Reynolds and relatives in Pittsylvania County. I, with my husband's help, produce a web-site that has kinda gotten 'out of hand'. I enjoy the research, and get really thrilled when I find something that nobody else seems to know. f you send me your line, I will post it. Is Matilda your ancestor?
Gene R. Collins No, She was Hiram Collins' first wife. They were only married about a year when she died. His second wife, Lucinda Adkins, was my 3rd g-grandmother. Nancy Ann and I are cousins through families inner/cross marriages. I don't remember just how it is made so. Would you like a "Guest Invitation" to my Ancestry.com tree? If so, please e-mail me at gr.ric@comcast.net and I'll send you an invite. With your e-mail address I can also e-mail you a "Descendants Report" from my tree of my Collins, Oakes and Reynolds families in Adobe Reader PDF format.
Gene R. Collins Was Mollie a nickname? Was Mary Lou your grandmother?
