- Today is Halloween, 2014. I spent the afternoon and evening with William David Reynolds and his wife Dorothy 'Dot' Bowles Reynolds. We were instant family and they gave me photographs and stories of their family members and updated the information I had about their families. They live near Greenpond and were so loving and gracious, I must adopt them. -mfe
William David Reynolds of Chatham, passed away on October 24, 2018. He was born to Fannie Reynolds and Raymond Reynolds on September 23, 1927. He lived his entire life on his family farm. He loved spending time worshiping God at Hollywood and Greenpond Baptist churches. He served in the Army during the Korean War as a Staff Sergeant. He was employed at Goodyear for 26 years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bowles Reynolds; two daughters, Carolyn Davis and Beverly Darling; two grandsons. He was also predeceased by his two brothers, Elbert & Robert.
Burial will be in Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery.

I married into the Reynolds'. My husband is William Reynolds dob 9-23-1927. He has lived in the 'Callands' area all of his life, except during his stint with the Army. We married June 12, 1953 and have lived here on the Tomahawk Creek farm. His parents were Raymond and Fannie Reynolds Reynolds.
His paternal grandparents were David Crocket Reynolds and Ella Smith Reynolds who are buried at Hollywood. Her parents Ralph and Ardina Smith are buried here on the farm.
William Barton Reynolds, Jr and Susan (Frances) Reynolds were Fannie's parents. She was the daughter of John Ward Reynolds and Rebecca Mahan. His second wife was Nannie Wade Mays.
