      12 July 1750 - to John Phelps, 280 acres on both sides of Troublesome Creek and adjoining his own land

      25 July 1749 - To John Phelps, 444 acres including some of the branches of the south fork of Little Otter River, beginning just above Aaron Burlesons survey.

      10 Jan 1748 - To John Phelps, Lunenbury Co., 325 acres including some south branches of Little Otter River, adjoining Thomas Smith.
      10 Jan 1748 - To John Phelps, Lunenburg Co., 350 acres on both sides of Otter River.

      He was in Brunswick Co. VA when Lunenburg was formed, and was one of the first justices of the new county. He was present at the first Court of Lunenburg Co., held May 5, 1746. When Bedford was formed, he was justice of the peace and a justice of the county court in chancery. He was a colonel in the colonial army.
