She was born on July 26, 1951, in Pittsylvania County, the daughter of the late William Averette Reynolds and the late Edna Motley Reynolds. She was a graduate of Chatham High School and Westhampton College. She received her master?s degree in political science from the University of Richmond. She taught at Richmond Christian School and was presently teaching at Guardian Christian Academy in Chesterfield. She also taught at Sylvan Learning Center. She was passionate about her students, her God and her school. She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church and attended Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Jenny is survived by two sisters, Sally Reynolds Linthicum and her husband Herbert of Chatham, and Betty Reynolds Holly and her husband P.D. of Callands; one brother, William Averette Reynolds, Jr. of Chatham. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM with the Pastor Terry C. St. John officiating. The family will receive friends at Hollywood Baptist Church on Friday, June 29, 2012 one hour prior to the service. He was born on June 6, 1938, in Danville, the son of the late William Averrett Reynolds and the late Edna Motley Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. He finished West Nottingham Academy in Maryland and attended Indiana Technical Institute. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend who will truly be missed. He is survived by one daughter, Tonja Rose Reynolds of Chatham; two sisters, Sally R. Linthicum of Chatham and Betty R. Holley of Callands; and one grandson, Shane Kevin Garrett of Atlanta, Ga. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia (Jenny) Reynolds. A graveside memorial service will be conducted at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 3:00 PM with the Pastor Terry C. St. John officiating.
