Fatally Injured at His Wife's Grave. 
 
Indiana Man Meets With An Accident While Attempting To Set a Monument. 
 
Princeton, Ind., Oct 1 ? William R Steele, a leading citizen and Republican politician, died as the result of an accident at his wife's grave. In attempting to set a monument at the grave the stone fell upon him, crushing his chest and head. He lived for four hours in terrible agony. 
 
He was fifty-six years old, and at one time was County Recorder, besides holding other offices of trust. He was the father of the Rev F. A. Steele, a Methodist minister at Sullivan, Ind. Another son is a soldier in the Philippines.
