In the Registry of Death records in the Stafford County Court Clerk's Office, there is record of the death of LAWRENCE SANFORD in October 1858, age 85 years, white male, cause of death is "natural decline", buried in Stafford; represented by MRS. SANFORD, consort.
LAWRENCE SANFORD was a wealthy farmer in Stafford County - In 1850 his estate was worth $7,470.
