  Kathryn V. Henderson was born November 11th 1911 to George Howard Henderson and Harriett Bertha Biddle, and she had one younger brother, Wilmer Paul Henderson. She was a life-long resident of Maryland and attended the Maryland State Normal School, now called Towson University, and became a teacher in Baltimore city. She married Charles Edward Towson (1907-1981), and the couple had one child, David Edward. She was known as Grammy to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. findagrave
