Thomas Carter of Georgia, commissioner of Southern Railroad lines and the mother of Capt. Wm Page Carter, who is in Baltimore for the winter. Her son, Dr. Shirley Carter, m. the d/o Governor Thomas Swann of Maryland. Buried at Millwood, Clarke Co., VA
