LAKE WALES -- Mr. Burton A. Reynolds Jr. of Lake Wales died Thursday (Aug. 26, 1999) at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa. He was 71.
Born in Wilmington, Del., on Aug. 28, 1927, he moved to Lake Wales from Harrington, Del., eight years ago. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a truck driver. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 242 in Lake Wales, where he served as chaplain. He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Reynolds; son, Byron A. Reynolds III, Valenci, Calif.; stepsons, Johnny Warncke, Dover, Del., and Benny Warncke, Brooksville; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
