      Free Lance-Star, The (Fredericksburg, VA) - Tuesday, March 31, 2009

      Earline B. Reynolds, 89, of Mineral, was called home by Our Lord and Savior, at noon on Sunday, March 29, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital.

      Earline was loved by her family and many friends. Earline was a life member of Mineral Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher. She also was a member of the ladies' auxiliary of the Mineral Volunteer Fire Department. In addition, Earline worked at Mineral Elementary School, where the children loved her dearly.

      Earline was preceded in death by her parents, Warner and Ethel Brooks; her brothers, Garnie Brooks, Wood-row Brooks and Warner Brooks Jr.; and her sister, Stella Seay; her first husband, John Foster; and then by her late husband Richard B. Reynolds.

      Survivors include her much loved nephew, John "Rick" Mitchell and his wife, Donna; niece Pamela Mitchell Hairfield and her husband, Rick; two sisters, Elnor Lee and Lucille Mitchell; one brother, Ernest Brooks and his wife Audrey; and many nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

      A funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, at Mineral Baptist Church. The Rev. Mike Durham will officiate, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

      Justin Mitchell, Justin Evans, Bob Henry, Barry Jett, Dylan Jett, and Tom Lever will serve as pallbearers.
