The Hare Matter
...Hare was held for trial before the District Court of 15 Apr 1807. The case was tried by a jury composed of Richard Stockton, John Brown, Robert Prunty, Casimere Cabaniss, Thomas Charles, Thomas Ferguson, Nicholas Cassell, Jacob Webb, John Hill, William Jones, Thomas ARRINGTON and John Smith.
The verdict, rendered on 17 Apr 1807 declared that the said Joseph Hare, alias Thomas Hunt, is guilty of the horse-stealing aforesaid in manner and form as in the indictment against him.....
