      He served in the French & Indian War in 1758. Married Mary Mosley (Moxley) (b:1720 in Bedford Co., Va.) abt. 1736. Had 12 children by Mary. Married Elizabeth Fuqua Stovall abt. 1777. No issue.
      Elizabeth was the daughter of Ralph and Priscilla Owen Faqua
      In 1754, she first married
      John Stovall in Bedford, Virginia. They had eight children
      Bartholomew, Mary, Ralph, Barnes, John B, Delilia, Hezekiah and Anna Stovall.
      After the death of John in 1778, she married Capt. Augustine Leftwich Jr on December 02, 1779, in Bedford Co. Virginia
