The granddaughter cites a Family Bible that we have lost track of (it may have burned when the granddaughter?s house burned in 1949). Stokeley's great-granddaughter Laura Emerson, my mother, recorded the names of people buried in this cemetery. Several had no markers, including Stokeley and his wife, Frances Elisha Keen Carter.
