  Richmond Times-Dispatch (VA) - Wednesday, December 7, 2005 Ethel P. Ryan, 65, of Powhatan, died December 5, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Raymond W. Ryan Jr.; three sons, Raymond A. Ryan and wife, Michelle, James L. Ryan, Kerry C. Ryan and wife, Amy; daughter, Kelly R. Campbell and husband Sean, all of Powhatan; brother, Martin Porter of Ireland; two sisters, Rosaleen Cassidy and Kathleen Hansen, both of California; and six grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Abby, Nicholas, Gavin and Alexander. The family will receive friends Wednesday (tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan, where a memorial service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Powhatan Rescue Squad, American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice.
