Elizabeth Field (Field) d/o Henry Field Jr. who was a member of the House of Delegatres, Rep. Culpepper County, Virginia year of 1774; in 1775 he was a member of the House of Burgesses, actively supporting the patriots' cause during those trying years. From the Va GAzette, dated Williamsburg, VA 1776 it is learned that Henry Field, Jr. was a delegate to the Convention at Richmond, representing Culpepper 20 March 1776. These item can be verified by the Draper Mms. at Madison, WI istorical Library.
