Actually my mother Ruth Eleanor Calderon Carter, 1922-1994.
The surname was ORIGINALLY?CALDARONE, of Italian descent.
I traced my maternal family history (Caldarone originally, later spelled Calderon) to two villages north of Naples, Italy. Her father Anthony P. Calderon, originally Antonio Francesco Paolo Caldarone, was an Italian
Immigrant from Marzano Appio (Naples) Italy who arrived in USA about 1895. I have traced this history to about year 1813.
