      -Thomas Palmer, Sr. was born on 12 Oct 1725 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia, and died on 16 Jul 1804 in Union County, South Carolina at age 78.
      General Notes: Parents were Thomas Palmer, Sr. born October 25, 1725 and Mary Catherine Queness Dejarnette born about 1730 in Richmond County Va. The parents were married about 1747 in Richmond County, Va. They had 11 children. Elish was a male, the 6th born, Elijah was male, 9th born. Some of the other childrens names in the family were Elizabeth and Elias. Elish married Susanna Legrand in Halifax, in 1782. Elijah married a Judith Hubbard.
      He appeared on the Heads of Household census in 1782 in Halifax County, Virginia.
      Thomas married Mary Catherine Queness Dejarnett , daughter of Jean (John) Dejarnette and Mary Mumford, about 1747 in Halifax County, Virginia. Mary was born about 1727 in Amelia County, Virginia and died est 1810 about age 83.

      i. Jeffrey Palmer was born in 1743 in Halifax County, Virginia and died on 11 Aug 1819 in Halifax County, Virginia at age 76. Jeffrey married Susannah Legrand (b. Est 1748) about 1770 in Halifax County, Virginia.
      ii. Thomas Palmer was born about 1745 in Amelia County, Virginia and died between 1800 and 1801 in Union County, South Carolina about age 55. Thomas married Elizabeth Perry (b. Est 1750) est 1770.
