      Sharon Eileen Halsey, age 67, of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019. Born in Elkton on September 22, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Donald W. and Betty M. Lewis.
      Mrs. Halsey retired as a secretary for the State of Maryland Clerk of the Court. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #851, Elkton. Mrs. Halsey loved trips to Maine to visit family and going on cruises. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and attending flea markets.
      She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Joseph Wayne Halsey.
      In addition to her parents, Mrs. Halsey was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Pendleton.
      Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Chesapeake City, MD.
