      I.-2-i-i_LITTLEBERRY SCRUGGS, the only son
      of Henry Scruggs, by his wife Ann, was born in
      Virginia, and married Frances _LNU _ , by whom he had issue :
      1. Lucy Porter, who married Palmore.
      2. WilHam.
      3. Elizabeth, who married __ Edwards.
      4. Sally, who married Granger.
      5. Benjamin Eliott.

      Littleberry Scruggs died in Cumberland County, Virginia. His will is dated December 18 1822, and probated November 24, 1823, in which he mentions his beloved wife Frances, and six of his children. He leaves the sum of $100 to be paid his grandson Littleberry Palmore. He appoints and constitutes his friend, Colonel Maurice Langhorne, with his son* Benjamin E. Scruggs, executors. The will is signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of James Aiken, Benjamin F. Sims.
