[S42] Obituary. Donald Earl Rigney, 64, of Route 3, Box 107, Bluefield died Thursday, December 25, 1986 in a Bluefield hospital. Born April 11, 1922 in Bramwell, he was the son of the late Robert N. Rigney and Lucy Tabor Rigney. He lived in Bluewell for 25 years and was a member of the Bluewell United Methodist Church. He retired as a salesman from Pocahontas Welding Supply. He was a member of Bramwell Kiwanis Club and Bailey Masonic Lodge No. 137, where he was Tyler of the lodge for 18 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. R.P. (Yvonne) Vest of Forest, Va., Miss Donna Cheryl Rigney of Salem, Va.; brother, Howard Rigney of Salem; sisters, Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Bales, Mrs. Max (Betty) Reynolds of Bluefield, Mrs. Teb (June) Jarrett of Globe, Az., Mrs. Cecil (Ethel) Mullins of Bramwell; and three grandchildren. Funeral service will be at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, Bluewell, with the Rev. Carl Burrows and the Rev. Barry Wright officiating with emtombment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Bluewell United Methodist Church, Rt. 4, Box 541, Bluefield, or Lorton Lick Weslyan Church, Box 803, Bluefield, W.V.
