She was the daughter of Colby and Sarah (Robins) Rucker. She married George Coffey abt 1809 in Wilkes County, North Carolina. By 1830, they were living in Grainger County, Tennessee, on the north side of Clinch Mountain.
They were the parents of Thomas, Mira, Delphia, Mary A., William E., Elijah, Matilda, Malinda, Mahalia, Martha Emaline "Emily," and Louisa Coffey.
