  Southern Pollards by Jack Geddie, cited on an internet posting, apparently incidates that the William Pollard who married Kewziah Seay was the son of Robert and Mary Pollard. However, the same source cites a New Kent County marriage record, but the marriage occured in Amelia. 1790 Amelia Co., Personal Property Tax Book, p. 12 - William Pollard, tithable William Pollard, 2 male blacks over 16, 1 horse 1791 Amelia Co. Land Tax Book, p. 9 - William Pollard, 78 acres 1796 Amelia Co. - Unrecorded Deeds & Other Documents, Amelia Co., Virginia, 1750-1902, abstracted and compiled by Gibson Jefferson McConnaughey, p. 67: Deed dated 6 Oct 1796, William Pollard & Kezia, his wife, of Amelia Co., to Elizabeth Goode, Ann Goode, Garland Goode, Mackness Goode, and Mary Good, heirs of Mackness Goode, dec'd, of Amelia Co., for £80, 78 acres in Amelia adj. lines of Henry Skipworth, Mackness Goode, dec'd, and the land whereon John Taylor formerly lived, said to belong to on Dupey, being the land conveyed to Ambrose Jeter by Moses Lovern, and by said Ambrose Jeter to William Pollard, who by decredd of the high Court of Chancery, makes this deed of conveyance to the heirs of Mackness Goode.
