Mrs. Elizabeth Ewing Berry, who was borned on December 13th 1817, died last night at her home on Walnut street, of the infirmities incident to one of that age. The deceased was born in Wayne County, Kentucky but had been living in Boyle county about twenty five years.

She was the mother of ten children, four of whom survive: Mrs. Robert B. Metcalf, New York City; Mrs. N.D. Ingram, Boston, Georgia; Mr. B.C. Berry and Miss Laura berry, of this city.

The deceased had been a lifelong member of the Christian church and had lived up to the teachings of that faith during all of her long and happy life. She was of unusually bright mind and kept her mental faculties until the end, she was a kind and loving mother, and was given to charity and religious work during her active life. Those who survive her have the great felt sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.

The funeral services will be held at the home on Walnut street on tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, at 2 o'clock, and will be conducted by Rev. H. C. Garrison, after which interment will take place in Bellevue Cemetery.-Danville Advocate
