      Name: Hutchins Burton
      Sex: M
      Birth: 25 SEP 1723
Death: ABT 1801 in Mecklenburg Co., VA
Marriage 1 Judith Allen b: ABT 1715, d/o Wm Allen& Mary, his wife.
      Married: 16 MAR 1742

Mecklenburg Co., VA, tax records indicate sons' names, in addition to grandparents' wills. It is also possible that this Hutchins was married more than once. If this is the case, it is possible that Owen and, perhaps, Julius Allen, were children of the second marriage. It is also possible that this Hutchins had a son named William, if the estate records of Hutchins 3d are accurate. No record confirming that has yet been found. From Bob Burton of Gainesville, Dorothy Gallion, Jacqueline Hudson, and elsewhere:
