Notes |
- Ernest in the 1920 census living with his mother and grandparents is listed as ERNEST CHARSHA grandson. Somewhere along the line his last name changed to Hemphill. His parents were married in 1918 and on his death certificate it lists his grandfather as father and his mother as Hazel Bell. Her name was Hazel Bell Hemphill. So it's all screwed up.
