This isn't concrete proof, I know. But it might lend some credence to the claim of Susannah Spencer being the wife of Bibby Bush. She later married Stephen Neal.
Wills of Halifax Co., VA:
Will of Thomas Spencer signed 3/9/1775 and proven 2/15/1776. Names wife Margaret; sons Abraham and Thomas Sharp Spencer; daughters Elizabeth, Rachel and Susannah.
Will of Thomas Bush (only son of Bibby Bush) signed 11/14/1804 and proven 2/25/1805. Nahmes wife Mary; sons Melkijah, William and Francis; daugters Rachil, Betsy Bomar and Mary Cauthorn.
Will of Stephen Neal signed 12/15/1775 and proven 8/15/1776. Names wife Susannah; son William; daughters Catharin Powell, Suckey, and Rachel.
Will of Susanna Neal signed 2/19/1788 and proven 5/26/1788. Names daughters Betsy Bomar and Barbary; grandson Edward Bomar; friends John Bomar, Sr., Wm. Bomar, Sr., and James Stevens as Executors.
Thank you Carol for posting all of this on VA Genweb!
By the way, there was another Susannah Spencer, daughter of Thomas and Ann Spencer who was baptized 11/3/1686 in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent Co., VA/ She died the next day! maybe these were ancestors of the Spencers in Halifax County?
Please note the Catherine Neal Powell named above was also named in previous post. And......That Thomas Rowland had ason named JOhn Sharp Rowland at whose home Rev. THomas Bomar died!
The Rowland family were also in St. Peter and Paul's Parishes of New Kent and Hanover Counties.

4. Stephen Neall Jr. was born in Ireland, probably in the 1690s, and came to America with his brother Roger, sister Ann and possibly other members of the family in 1718. Amelia Co., VA Order Book I records that in February 1739 Stephen Neale Jr. in order to prove his right to take up land according to the Royal Charter, made oath that he came to this Colony to dwell from Ireland in 1718.
Amelia Co. records show that Stephen purchased 400 acres in 1735 from his brother Thomas. When Thomas died circa 1736, he gave his brother Stephen 200 acres. Stephen sold the 200 acres in 1743 and the 400 acres in 1745.
Deed records show that Stephen's wife was named Elizabeth and that he left the Amelia Co., Virginia area sometime in the late 1740s after he file a suit against Roger Neal, probably his brother, in 1746. Exactly what the suit was about or it's outcome, is not known at this time but it may be the reason Stephen decided to leave the area.
When Carl B. Neal wrote the book, The Beaver Pond Neals of Virginia, he did not know what happened to Stephen Jr. Subsequent research has revealed that Stephen, for whatever reason, moved to Rockingham Co., North Carolina. Stephen's wife was named Elizabeth.
