      Hope Virginia Reynolds, 68 of Elkton, MD, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in North East, MD, on September 24, 1939, the daughter of the late James M. and the late Wilna M. Gonce Dennison. She was the beloved wife of 50 years of George E. Reynolds, Sr. She retired from Cecil County Public Schools, working as a Teacher's Aide at Holly Hall Elementary School. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of North East United Methodist Church, North East, MD and of the NEHS Alumni Association. She enjoyed sewing, reupholstering furniture and crafting. Most of all she enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her loving husband, survivors include her children: George E. Reynolds, Jr. of Elkton, MD; Mark T. Reynolds of Elkton, MD; Jeffrey Wayne Reynolds of Hustontown, PA; and Renee' Funk of Elkton, MD; two sisters: Sandra Paulachok of North East, MD; Lori Syva of Elkton, MD; one brother: James D. Dennison of Elkton, MD; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may visit starting at 10:00 AM. Rev. Daniel T. Gedman will officiate. Interment will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to: Holly Hall Elementary School, c/o the funeral home.
