      The eldest son of Thomas Phillip and Sarah Bacon was William who was born in 1772; married Valencia Branch, d/o Washington Branch of Hanover and his wife, Miss Britton of Chesterfield. Married 24 May 1802, he paid taxes in Henrico Co., in 1802 on two blacks over 16 years, and two horses" In 1804 He and Valencia moved to Mercer Co., KY. 3 Nov 1806, he sold to his brother Lyddall 320 acres in Henrico Co., for $2,000.00, half of tract devised to them jointly by their Father Thomas Phillip. In Nov 1812, William and Valencia transferred to Lyddall remaining portion of tract devised to them by their Father. Wm died in Covington, TEnn, in 1826; Valencia near Randolph, TN in 1842; 11 Children are named.
      Sarah Bacon is the d/o Langston and Sarah Patterson Bacon of New Kent County; her siblings Harwood, Ann Bacon m. Captain Apperson, Lucy Bacon, m. Mr. Williamson, William Bacon; Edmund or Edward Bacon, Elizabeth Bacon who married John Moseby, and Lyddall Bacon, who married A. Apperson, 2nd Lucy Crump.
