      Wife of Col. William Clark (1759-1827). They were married on June 21, 1784 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Jane was the daughter of Jeremiah White and Esther (Herndon) White. Her children included: Gen. Thomas Clark, Jane Clark, Col. William S. Clark and David Clark.

      It appears that Col. William Clark had two wives and other children.
