Dorothy Neas Pollard May 4, 1914 - December 27, 2013 Born in Bedford County, Virginia, to Stuart and Georgeanna Neas; wife of the Rev. T. Anthony Pollard (deceased); mother of Stuart F. Pollard (deceased) and Patricia P. Terry (Michael F.); grandmother of Jennifer T. Gottsegen (Adam) and Michael P. Terry; great- grandmother of Jack and Eleanor Gottsegen. Dorothy spent her life serving the Lord by helping others. The family expresses gratitude to many who have rekindled the spirit of love in which Dorothy so fervently believed, by sharing their kindness and love. A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Highland Burial Park, Danville, Va. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Salemtowne, Winston Salem, N.C. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice or to the Salemtowne Benevolent Fund.
