A lifetime resident of Oxford, she was retired from the Oxford Sewing Co. She attended the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church. Sarah is survived by several nieces and nephews; her companion Heath F. Warden of Oxford; and a special niece, Mary Haney of Oxford. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Oxford Cemetery, 220 North Third St. Oxford.
