Charles Grymes of Glouchester and York counties, had a son, John, who married Alice, d/o Lawrence and Sarah Townley. The latter was a d/o Col. Augustine Warner, Sr., of 'Warner Hall'. John Grymes died 28 Aug 1709 aged 69 years. His eldest son, Hon. John Grymes of Brandon', Middlesex was b. in 1693, d. 2 Nov 1749. He was Burgess for Middlesex 1718. He married Lucy, d/o Phillip Ludwell of Greensprings. Frequent mention of the Grymes family is contained in the Parish Register of Christ Church, Middlesex. The will of John Grymes, 2nd, dated 1747, bears a wax seal with arms. Charles Grymes, the immmigrant, patented land in Lancaster Co., in 1653, 1654, and 1657....
