Louisa was named after her mother's sister, Louisa Burwell Harvey Craft, wife of George Craft, Jr.

Her grandfather was Colonel Lewis S. Harvey, owner of the famous "Speedwell" plantation near present day Starkey in Roanoke Co., VA. The Harvey's were an early, and filthy rich, Virginia family.

Her grandmother was Frances Thacker Burwell, of the famous Burwell family of Virginia, another early, and filthy rich, Virginia family.

She is a descendant of the famous families of Armistead, Borden, Thacker & Digges.

Her pedigree is as pure as any fine Virginia family could ask for.
