      Thomas Jefferson, fourth son of Peter Field and Elizabeth Allen Jefferson married Elizabeth Ball, d/o John and Mary Patton Ball.
      Frances Jefferson b 11 Jan 1772, married George Murphy 27 Mar 1794. Frances was deceased by the chancery suit of 1828, with two daughters, Elizabeth and Nancy, surviving. They apparently did not stay in Pittsylvania County.

George Jefferson explores what is now Pittsylvania County and Franklin county, Virginia; sells some land to Peter Field, and Peter marries Jane Randolph and sires the future president of the US, and Field marries and produces Peter Field who married Elizabeth Allen.
