    • William Douglas ?Bonnie? Bouldin, 89, of 1280 Bouldin Road, Ridgeway, VA passed away on Tuesday October 7, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.

      Mr. Bouldin was born on February 24, 1925 in Henry County to the late John Wesley Bouldin and Mamie Eggleston Bouldin. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Curry Bouldin, sister, Ethel Bouldin Young, brothers, John Clyde Bouldin, Dewey Swanson Bouldin and Cecil Hardin Bouldin.


      Mr. Bouldin served in the U.S. Army during World War II where he fought in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and worked in home construction as a contractor.

      Surviving is his daughter, Rhonda Bouldin Caudle and husband J.B. of Rural Hall NC; grandchildren, Leigh Anne Hazelwood of Spencer, VA and Kristin Michelle Hazelwood of Stuart, VA; great-grandchildren, Tyler Shane Hazelwood of Spencer, VA and Carson Michael Burchell of Stuart, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.

      There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Oakwood Cemetery with Reverend Doug Ramsey and Reverend Dave Cuthbertson officiating. The family will receive friends at the home.

      Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory, Martinsville, VA is serving the Bouldin family.
