Reported by Sister, Kathy; Ken was discovered deceased in his home in Martinsille, Virginia
Dear Family and Friends of Ken Bocock,
The kind, sweet, loving, witty and wonderful Ken Bocock passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. If you were among those closest to him who are learning of this with a Facebook post, my apologies. It just means I probably didn?t have your phone number. Please inform others you are aware of that need to know; in my dark, foggy haze, I?m afraid I may have missed someone.
To say I am completely devastated would be an enormous understatement. My brother and I were very close; we?d actually purchased burial plots next to one another years ago. Ken also had many others who were very close to him who are grieving ? my heart and prayers go out to all of you.
At the time of this post, I do not have the cause of his passing; it will be shared privately with close family and friends when released.
Ken wanted only a very small, private service and no public obituary.
Due to unexpected circumstances, rather than a service we plan to have an online memorial board, and at later time a private gathering for his beloved friends, co-workers and family.
Thank you to family and Ken?s friends who have been so supportive and helpful at a time they are also suffering. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed for the rest of our lives.
Those who knew Ken well will understand why I posted this particular picture; cap, shirtless, shorts, white socks and Converse High Tops is why! It?s SO Ken!
