      Ellen Sidwell was born to Isaac Sidwell and Ann Brown. She married Samuel Coppock on 11 December of 1775. Their marriage is recorded in the Eastland Quaker Meeting minutes as well as the Little Britain Quaker Monthly Meeting. She is identified as the daughter of Isaac and Ann Sidwell and he as the son of John and Margaret Coppock, both of Little Britain.

      Samuel's death is recorded in the Damascus Cemetery in Columbiana CO, OH. He died in 1832. He was disowned earlier in Little Britain and then reaccepted in 1812 and finally disowned in the Salem Meeting, Coumbiana CO, OH in 1823. They were the parents of 14 children. A daughter Mary Coppock Reynolds is also buried in the Eastland Friends Burial Ground.
