He married Mary Elizabeth DUNKLEY on 25 NOV. 1745 in Pennsylvania Although I have used the unverified birth & death dates above, but because of the marriage date I have assumed his birth year to be estimated about 1724 as the most common age at that period in time for a male to marry was 21. See map of Fort Chiswell and Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church. NOTE: We have an Alexander Neely/Neeley mentioned in Kegleys, Cronicles of the Scotch Irish. Date of mention is May 1768. Proximity evidence suggests the Alexander Neely is related to other know Neeleys in Augusta County, Virginia, perhaps the son of Richard Neeley and Mary Elizabeth Dunkley.
