  [S160] Correspondence, Elizabeth Stein. Finally a name that I recognize! John Frederick Miller was one of my ancestors! aka Johann Friedrich Muller! He was the father of Martin Miller (c.1753-1814) whose first wife was Rebeckah Douglass (1768-1794, died 5 days after childbirth). Their daughter was Rebecca Miller (1794-?) who married Anderson Kirby (1790-1884). Their daughter was Sally Kirby (1835-?) who married Joseph E. Farmer (1830-?). Their daughter was Roberta Douglass Farmer (1873-1942) who married Arthur Eugene ("Dick") Taylor (1874-1935), my great grandfather. So that's at least one of our Taylor connections! By the way, before my father died, he gave Martin Miller's family Bible to the rare book collection of the public library in Chattanooga. I haven't seen it since 1987, but it should still be there!
