[Laura] She d. in Maumee, 0., 27 Sept., 1853; he m. (2) Mrs. Lavira Reed; d. in Maumee, 12 Sept., 1868.
He [George W.] was a farmer ; res. near Rome, NY; served in the civil war as a teamster; was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. In politics he was a "Jackson" Democrat and a "Lincoln" Republican.
