  Married: Richard Parker had at least two wives. His wife, Elizabeth, waived her dower rights when he gave land to his daughters and their husbands. His Will, 10 years later, names wife Mirha, interpreted as Martha. Elizabeth is probably the mother of his children.

Minitha Straight Tail is the daughter of Meaurroway Opessa Staight Tail, Chief of the Pekowi, Shawnee Nation, and Shawano Woman of the Bear Clan, of the Pekowi. The chief was known as Meaurroway and he was Chief of the Pekowi, which is a division of the Shawnee nation. He was also the Chief of the Turtle Clan, one of the most religious orders of the tribe.
